Our client is looking for a Manager Close & Consolidation to join their team in Bogota, Colombia. The individual will focus on of the monthly financial close and consolidation process, whose responsibilities will include recording monthly and quarterly close entries to our general ledger. The professional main responsibilities will be Global Business Services, Treasury, Tax, Intercompany Center of Excellence and Financial Reporting and Planning functions to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the financial data reported in the general ledger.Responsabilities: ●    This position will be an integral part of the monthly financial close and consolidation process, whose responsibilities will include recording monthly and quarterly close entries to our general ledger. ●    This role will work closely with our regional and country accounting teams, Global Business Services, Treasury, Tax, Intercompany Center of Excellence and Financial Reporting and Planning functions to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the financial data reported in the general ledger.●    This role will review and maintain adequate documentation of work processes and workpapers to support consolidation adjustments and elimination entries.●    This role will complete consolidated roll forwards of certain accounts, such as debt and fixed assets, identifying drivers for any significant changes and analyzing the activity in the rollforward. ●    This role will review and analyze monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements and work with our country teams to understand any significant changes in our general ledger accounts when compared to prior periods;●    This role will be responsible for the preparation, review and presentation of the Company's external filings with the Securities & Exchange Commission, primarily our quarterly and annual filings on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, respectively. This includes the preparation and review of the financial statements, the related footnotes and MD&A;●    This role will work with Application System Administrator to maintain application reports as required and ensure that reports are accurate and comply with GAAP, SEC regulations, professional standards, and organization policies;●    This role will perform ad hoc financial analyses or projects as required in support of financial reporting and management requirements;●    This role will collaborate with and provide support to our external auditors as part of their annual audits and quarterly reviews.Requirements: ● years of related work experience, including SEC Reporting experience, in a public company with international operations is required;●    Master's Degree, or equivalent, is preferred;●    Strong fundamental knowledge of US GAAP, SEC Reporting is required;●    The ideal candidate will possess solid organizational and documentation skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team and manage and adhere to multiple deadlines;●    Advanced skills and experience with financial and accounting reporting systems / applications (i.e. Oracle, Onestream) with multi-currency translation is required;●    The candidate should be comfortable with basic computer programs (MS Excel, Word). ●    The candidate is expected to work on the EST time zone;
