As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be in charge of monitoring freight movements and ensuring on-time delivery across all active shipments. You'll proactively communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to maintain real-time visibility, resolve service issues, and uphold customer expectations. Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
- Monitor active shipments across multiple systems to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
- Track and trace freight with carriers, drivers, and customers, providing timely updates
- Identify and flag detention, layover, TONU, and accessorial situations early to avoid charges
- Manage accessorial claims submissions, documentation, and follow-up with carriers and internal teams
- Maintain daily shipment logs, status reports, and exception dashboards
- Coordinate proactively with carriers, dispatch, and warehouse teams to resolve delays or disruptions
- Review PODs, BOLs, and carrier communications for accuracy and billing compliance
- Prepare internal and customer-facing reports related to shipment performance and accessorial trends
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce accessorial exposure and operational inefficiencies
- Communicate professionally and clearly with U.S. stakeholders in real-time
- Studies: High School Degree is required. Desirable (but not required) studies in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Languages, Logistics, or administrative related. Other studies are also considered.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in customer service roles. Deep understanding of SaaS applications. Having experience in freight brokerage is a plus or Logistics related.
- Language: Advanced English skills. B2 or higher is preferred.
