Logistics Coordinator – PriceSmart Location: Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating an exceptional employee experience where everyone is respected and has equal opportunity. The Logistics Coordinator actively participates in a team that handles a variety of logistics functions, including Origin Consolidation programs, transportation planning and strategy, and expediting freight from vendor origin to PriceSmart DC/DDC or club locations. The Coordinator will work closely with the Origin Consolidation Manager to ensure execution of shipments from origin, making sure prioritization and KPIs are met, and will track and trace shipments via the 4PL, 3PL and VOCC platforms to guarantee on-time deliveries. Responsibilities Act as an Ocean Consolidation Subject Matter Expert to establish SOPs, including assessing vendor requirements, troubleshooting, and writing corrective actions. Supervise the submission of consolidation activities at origin across all TMS processes, ensuring full vendor documentation for FTZ shipments across suppliers. Leverage international trade law and foreign market requirements to recommend transportation solutions that keep freight on time. Apply knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and comply with the established PriceSmart routing guide. Prepare various KPI reports for monthly shipment summaries. Develop and maintain logistics policies, procedures for reporting, routing guides, consolidation operations, and product movement tracking across channels. Support the Origin Consolidation Manager and VP of Transportation with reporting, equipment allocation and development of procedures for Origin Consolidation programs. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with high attention to detail and minimal supervision. Qualifications Education degree and related experience in global logistics, preferably in a coordinator/specialist or similar role. Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excellent detail and organizational skills, with fast and accurate typing (≥40 WPM) in high‑volume environments.
