If yes, you may be a great addition to our team Cultural Care Au Pair is seeking a
Business Developer
based in our Medellín office to grow the Colombian market to help us achieve our goal of being the largest and most trusted au pair program in the world.

As a Business Developer you will identify and build new business opportunities with universities, companies, industry associations and academic institutions to generate more partnerships to drive new leads and help the business grow. You will also be expected to organize events and lead our referral loyalty program for adults. You will be asked to reach weekly and monthly lead generation and sales targets and other predefined KPIs.

Basic qualifications and more details about the role:

  • A Bachelor´s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or International Affairs.
  • Preferable but not mandatory: having studied/worked/lived abroad.
  • Full proficiency in Spanish and English both written and spoken
  • 2 to 3 years marketing and/or sales experience.
  • Preferable but not mandatory: Experience in event planning and execution

Your core responsibilities are to:

  • Identify potential partners to work with.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers/businesses.
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face, zoom or over the phone.
  • Create and execute in a timely manner an activity plan, by participating in events that increase customers' interest and boost sales. These events may include stands, exhibitions, fairs, and presentations.
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting goals and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • Plan and execute the activities you will run daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly with the help of your direct marketing and sales colleagues within EF Colombia.
