Position Title: Scheduler

Number of Positions: 1

Country: Hybrid Colombia; Medellin, Cali, Bucaramanga, and Barranquilla. The first two months will be hybrid, and then fully remote.

Shift days, hours and time zone: Availability Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 9:00 pm COL time with one day off. Rotative as the client may need.

Job Description:

The position ensures efficient coordination of routes, compliance with timelines, and operational support between transportation, warehouse, customer service, and sales. It is key to maintaining the integrity of the cold chain, optimizing resources, and ensuring effective communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in route creation and load map assembly
  • Support other departments / Drivers ETAs
  • Confirm driver availability for routes
  • Create maps in WMS
  • Review route status and send reports
  • Quote loads with brokers and assign them
  • Route assignment
  • Send POs
  • Review status of additional routes

Skills and Qualifications – Hard and Soft Skills:

  • Operational coordination and route management: Planning, assignment, and monitoring
  • Communication and collaboration: Effective interaction with drivers, warehouse, and customer service
  • Problem-solving and decision-making: Ability to react to unforeseen events
  • Technology use and data accuracy: Handling WMS, TMS, GPS, and control tools
