This role oversees the strategic and operational control of the Restaurants and Retail verticals. The Business Controller ensures alignment between global initiatives and local execution across 9 countries, tracking key performance indicators like cancellation rate, defect rate, and delays.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

  • This position acts as a cross-functional connector between Operations, Product, Finance, Commercial, and Fraud teams, enabling a frictionless operational flow and high-quality performance management
  • You will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring all global initiatives for Restaurants & Retail (CPGS) and validating execution with local teams
  • Tracking and analyzing operational performance KPIs at global and country level (e.g., Cancel Rate, Defect Rate, Delays)
  • Leading alignment and follow-up sessions with local Ops leaders to identify deviations and ensure accountability
  • Facilitating cross-functional coordination among teams such as Tech, Finance, Fraud, and Product
  • Documenting and escalating execution gaps, and supporting local leaders to implement tactical recovery plans
  • Supporting diagnosis in collaboration with Global and Local teams
  • Ensuring all post-meeting follow-ups are executed and documented, with impact evaluation and strategy adjustments as needed
     

Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics, operations, or performance tracking roles
  • Strong grasp of process improvement methodologies and KPI performance management
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both local and global
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
  • High proficiency in data analysis tools and dashboarding (SQL is a plus)
  • Solid project management capabilities to lead coordination efforts across teams
  • Talent for translating complex problems into actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with a global and strategic mindset
