About the role
- Process client payments accurately and efficiently, resolving any billing and collection issues
- Review payment arrangements and contracts, confirming payment schedules and terms with new clients
- Update client accounts with relevant information, ensuring billing and collection activities are up to date
- Collaborate with Case Management and Tax Prep teams to address billing-related inquiries and issues
- Provide phone and email support to clients, maintaining a friendly and professional approach
- Help improve overall collection cycles and billing processes, identifying areas for improvement
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and distribution mail
- Welcome visitors to the office and assist with any reception duties as needed
About you
- Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required
- 3-5 years of experience in credit, collections or a similar financial/customer service role
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to handle high volumes of calls and chats
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to provide workable solutions
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work full-time during core business hours and occasionally work longer hours during peak periods
