**About the Position**:
As a _Senior Production Support _you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will be a part of a team to resolve a diverse range of complex problems and regularly lead multiple, technically complex, large-scale projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor SQL Server instances to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server-related issues
- Respond to production incidents and support requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and system administrators to address performance and availability issues
- Ensure that all SQL Server instances are backed up and that backup data is stored securely
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans for SQL Server environments
- Develop and maintain SQL Server monitoring and reporting tools
- Continuously improve SQL Server performance by identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks
- **_Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for production SQL Server instances _**:

- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation related to SQL Server environments
- Troubleshoot SSIS packages and cmd tasks (running.bat,.scp)

**Requirements**:

- 5 + years of software project management experience
- Upper intermediate English proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a production support role with a focus on SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Experience with SQL Server Always On, and clustering
- Experience with backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies for SQL Server environments
- Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with SQL Server monitoring tools like DataDog
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
