**Job Overview**

This role is to support the HR and payroll operations of client companies on a global scale. The individual will assist HR and Payroll Managers in ensuring smooth and efficient operations while also contributing to the expansion of Marco Platform’s global payroll knowledge base. This will be a fully remote assignment with the option of being a Part-timer or Independent Contractor (if the individual meets the requirements), with an expected commitment of approximately 4 hours per week (16 hours per month).

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Perform monthly gross-to-net payroll calculations, ensuring proper withholding and declaration of social security contributions (health, pension, occupational risk/ARL), parafiscal contributions (SENA, ICBF, Family Compensation Fund), and payroll taxes in full compliance with Colombian labor and tax regulations. Assist in annual income tax-related filings and reporting (e.g., employee income certificates - _Certificado de Ingresos y Retenciones_).
- Assist in managing client companies’ HR and payroll operations in Colombia.
- Liaise with local vendors for HR, payroll, finance, and legal support in Colombia.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to follow up and resolve customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction with our solutions.
- Collaborate with the company’s HR & Payroll Manager to document and expand the knowledge database for HR and payroll operations worldwide.
- Adhere to global guidelines, comply with service processes, and improve service efficiency and convenience.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Colombian payroll administration, including end-to-end payroll processing, social security (EPS, pension, ARL), parafiscal contributions, and DIAN payroll tax reporting.
- MUST be familiar with the complete Colombian payroll cycle, including monthly payroll runs, statutory contributions, and year-end reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with recognized Colombian payroll software (e.g., Novasoft, Siigo Nómina, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP Colombia, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws, social security regulations, and compliance standards.
- Positive mindset, good communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; Spanish is required to communicate effectively with local vendors and authorities.

**Job Type**: Part-time
