**A Preview of Your Role**

Be part of our client’s team as a **Analista de Compras**, overseeing inbound vessel shipments, coordinating with warehouses, and driving operational excellence. Utilize your expertise in shipment supervision, logistics processes, and SAP BY DESIGN to contribute to our client's success in the retail industry.

**Rise to the Challenge: Chart Your Course in Retail**

Employment Type: Indefinite Term Contract
- Shift: 9AM to 5PM
- Work Setup: Remote, Bogotá/Medellin

**Unleash Your Potential: Take Charge in Retail Operations**
- Coordinate inbound vessel shipments from France to the USA with a freight forwarder, averaging around 2 containers per week.
- Maintain constant communication with the freight forwarder to track container movements, including arrival at port and warehouse.
- Notify warehouses of inbound shipments and prepare packing lists accordingly.
- Conduct weekly meetings with three warehouses to ensure effective coordination and operations.
- Generate outbound order requests for customer pickups from warehouses.
- Input purchase orders and invoices on SAP BY DESIGN.
- Enter customer sales orders and invoices on SAP BY DESIGN.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis using Excel by consolidating data from various Excel sheets.
- Independently pull relevant data using Excel formulas and functions such as X/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, INDEX MATCH, and margin calculations.

- Understanding of the supply chain and ERP concepts.- Experience in supervising shipments.-
- Knowledge of non-perishable goods shipments and logistics processes.-
- Familiarity with warehouse operations.-
- Preferred proficiency in French.-
- Highly advantageous experience with SAP BY DESIGN.-
- Proficiency in Excel formulas and analysis techniques.-
