As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will negotiate rates with carriers to cover loads that were tendered over by a customer.

Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:

- Post loads on different platforms to offer loads in the market for possible options.
- Contact carriers to provide them information regarding a load and negotiate rates to haul it.
- Keep in touch with the clients, giving them updates about their load status, and the actual location of the driver or ETA.
- Qualify carriers through different platforms.
- Tender loads to qualified carriers and follow up with carriers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Check the distance that the load will travel, dimensions, and weight before dispatch.
- Help source carrier lanes with open orders, look for the best rates for the available loads and negotiate contracts that are close to expiring.
