Resumen de Posición:
Engineer in charge of receiving request for quotations for private and public bids, received directly from customers or through our agent, organize and define priority in the work for selection and preparation of proposals, selecting equipment that best option that attend technical and commercial requirements and drawing up proposals. In addition to the above functions should follow up proposals and assist to accompany visits with salesmen, to support and ensure selling processes successfully.

Responsabilidades Esenciales:

- To provide technical support to our customers and distributors effectively.
- To develop technical skills and capacity to select pumping equipment and their accessories and devices, according to technical specification required which can be written or verbally requested.
- To develop offers and public tenders and private meeting with the technical, commercial and legal, that customer requires, taking in consideration to meet bid closing dates.
- To request our drivers and devices suppliers (motors, turbines, engines, etc.), mechanical seals, couplings, instrumentation and accessories, competitive bids meeting the technical scope requested as well as deviations to customer request.
- To track and follow up tenders submitted to our distributor or customer end user to know the status of each proposal and to get feedback to help us successfully conclude proposals in purchase orders.
- To visit customers with or without persons responsible for sales department to support and defend our proposals, responding to technical and commercial concerns customer may have the client and also looking for opportunities permanently that contribute of business development.
- To require factory technical support and/or commercial delivery times and competitive multipliers, depending on industry and customer that we are going to present each proposal.
- Actively participate in conferences, lectures and trainings performed by factory or requested by customers.
- To participate in weekly sales meetings actively, providing specific information of active proposals and submitting all information related with proposal requirements in special all maters that requires attention from company management.
- To keep the information of i-quote and databases updated, which are related to all the information for company proposals (bids).
- To prepare purchase orders files getting clean orders, to enter production orders, ensuring that purchase material request by client corresponds to our proposal.
- To comply with official regulations and company requirements for HSE program.
- To perform such other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor, not covered in this job description.

Requisitos del Puesto:

- Engineer with bachelor in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or related careers.
- Minimum experience in similar positions of one (1) year.
- Acknowledge related to rotative equipment, in special in centrifugal and screw pumps, assembly and packaged process and components related with its related components.
- High teamwork capabilities, in special with local team in administrative, sales and operations areas, as well as with it colleagues in international or national operations, which are located in countries with Hispanic or English languages.
- High impact communication capabilities and abilities to solve problems and take quickly decisions.
- High tolerance to work under pressure since this person performance will have a high impact in sales results and margins.
- High capabilities related to mathematics, physical and chemical analysis.
- Capabilities to develop skills to handle and lead people, focused on high values oriented to customer service and satisfaction.
- English written and spoken at least 80%.
