Now is a time of rapid growth for machine learning usage at Outrider, and to support these exciting projects, a new ML Perception Data/ML ops team has formed. We are scaling our data collections 100x and increasing the number of projects with plenty of ML solutions. We are looking for a Senior ML data/ML ops engineer to build and hone our data framework for feeding all our algorithms: from deep learning to filter/state estimation.You will work with a great engineering team that is highly motivated to make this a reality and a leadership that is laser focused on a product.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- You will have the opportunity to have huge impact on the autonomy stack for our autonomous truck:
- Design and develop data and ML ops frameworks to feed and run our algorithms: deep learning stack and state-estimation stack
- Build the tools and visualizations for accelerating our development, searching though large data lakes, and introspecting dataInterface with the other autonomy consumers and upstream/downstream components including deployment, DL modeling, and compute
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor/Master in CS or equivalent
- Several years of engineering experience in big data, deep learning oriented teams, or equivalent
- Highly skilled in python
- Expert with modern cloud compute and storage stack: aws/azure/gcp
- Experienced with large-scale data compute and database systems
- Excellent communication and proactivity: let's get things done
