We are currently looking for an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivate **Senior Data Engineer.**

The Data Engineer is primarily responsible for implementation, monitoring, and optimization of data platforms to meet the data pipeline needs.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Subject matter expertise in integrating, transforming, and consolidating data from various structured and unstructured data systems into structures that are suitable for building analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the data through exploration, building and maintaining secure and compliant data processing pipelines by using different tools and techniques.
- Prepare, store and produce cleansed and enhanced datasets for analysis.
- Manage data stores for high-performance, efficiency and reliability, given a specific set of business requirements and constraints using Azure Data Lake.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using Azure SQL DW and Azure Synapse technologies.
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Keep data separated and secure following asset strategies such as geographic boundaries through multiple data centers and cloud regions.

**Job-specific Competencies**
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- Experience building and optimizing Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure SQL DW
- Experience in managing data in Azure Data Lake
- Experience in data migration, SQL Query Optimization and data modeling
- Experience in implementing data security in Azure Data technologies
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
