**The Role**:
This role is key to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting requirements, strengthening the capability of the local team and forging a finance function that drives the business to success.

The group is headquartered in Soho Square, Central London, and this role will be based out of the Medellin office in Columbia and will require a high level of interaction within the Americas finance team, UK finance teams, non-finance teams and with third parties as necessary.
- Reports directly to the Group Financial Controller
- Leadership and development of Americas accounting team
- Development of Workday Financials / reduction in reliance on Excel
- Improvements in Finance Processes
- Responsible for submission and presentation of Divisional results
- Responsible for cost reporting and relevant analysis
- Supporting SEC reporting team in US GAAP reporting
- Working with FP&A team in production of annual budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring all accounting is in line with required GAAP and Group policy
- Review of Monthly Statutory P&Ls, Balance sheets and supporting information
- Production of divisional statutory reporting (for all subsidiaries in the division)
- Working closely with External auditors with view to simplifying annual audits
- Development of Dashboards/Standardised reports for budget holders
- Detailed KPI reporting
- Review and certification of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Working with business unit MDs on specific investment/business cases
- Working with Internal Control team to ensure SOX compliance
- Group cash management and treasury reporting
- Short term cashflow forecasting
- Other Ad hoc work as initiated or required

- A professional accounting qualification
- Bi
- lingual -Spanish and English
