Overview:
The Human Resources leader for Colombia works directly with local leaders as a trusted advisor within their assigned area to provide full-cycle human resources leadership and perspective, aligning with business and human resources strategies, policies, procedures and legislation.

The incumbent is a change agent working closely with HR functional groups and business leaders to ensure the business requirements are met and that HR strategies are delivered effectively.

This position has primary responsibility facilitating positive management and employee relations in accordance with the company's mission, values and goals

**Responsibilities**:

- Build strong relationships with business leaders and employees to maintain a positive and productive work environment within assigned area gaining their trust and respect.
- Act as a key trusted advisor and change agent to area leaders by providing HR expertise and perspective on a variety of HR strategies, initiatives and management/employee relations.
- Analyze the HR local metrics, identify trends, diagnose opportunities and work with leadership by providing insights to formulate and execute solutions to address issues within acceptable levels short-term and long-term (e.g. turnover, complaints, etc.)
- Partner with HR functional teams providing business area perspective to strengthen, support and execute current programs and new initiatives, including talent management, talent acquisition, compensation, training.
Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
- Ensure investigations of workplace issues (e.g. harassment, work environment issues, discrimination, retaliation, etc.) are conducted with proper diligence and make critical decisions for response/resolution, consulting with legal counsel as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Advising managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Change management, identifying barriers to change, monitoring and evaluating results.
- Demonstrates presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Work outside of traditional reporting relationships to get things done.
- Expert conflict resolution
- Expert judgement to navigate ambiguous situations.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree In HR or business related field
- Master’s Degree In HR or business related field is desirable
- SHRM and/or HRCI certified is desirable

**Experience**
- 7-10 years in progressively responsible HRBP-type role or in HR or cross functional experience areas
- Greater than 10 years in HRBP-type role supporting assigned business units to drive organizational goals or working in cross functional areas/ Business areas is desirable
- 4 + years experience of leading and developing teams (direct supervision)
- Executing strategic HR initiatives and strategic plans.
- Experience on managing corporate culture and values and their influence on business practices as well as DE&I advocacy.
- Developing programs that promote positive employee relations.
- Addressing employee and labor relations issues.
- Experience on managing hybrid working models is desirable
- Exposure to employee coaching, employee resource group initiatives is desirable
