**For Current Gilead Employees and Contractors:
**Job Description**:**This role will strategically develop and execute market expansion strategy & tactics for HCV & HBV in related-High Risk Populations (HRP) and channels/accounts like Addiction Centers, Blood Banks, Migration Centers, Prisons.**
**Reporting to the BUD. The Marketing Assoc Director will establish appropriate strategies, tactics and metrics to support the commercial teams on HCV elimination/micro elimination.**
**He/she will provide strong leadership skills with an ability to set a lead change, and to lead and mentor others. This role is responsible for overseeing the hiring and management of the PSP manager.**
**Essential Duties & Job Functions**:
- **This position will be responsible for marketing activities for Viral Hepatitis**
- **Lead the development and execution of brand plans and implement cross collaboration strategies for HCV elimination and micro-elimination**
- **Design new and innovative approaches and tactics to tackle the topic of HCV elimination within an environment of extreme challenge and limited resources for health care providers.**
- **Foster sustainable and reliable partnerships with key stakeholders for HCV elimination to translate ideas into feasible and efficient elimination initiatives**
- **Establish a HCV elimination heatmap: Rehab/drug counselling centers, blood banks and HCV treating physicians and other sites of care for vulnerable patients and close monitoring the advances and redirect the strategy**
- **Inspire the team to implement and scale-up best practice examples of micro-elimination projects to enhance screening, diagnosis and access to HCV care in the country.**
- **Implement marketing strategies focused on physicians, general population and governments to foster the HCV elimination plans**
- **Transport sense of urgency to plan and roll-out local elimination strategies and support initiatives with thorough project management skills.**
- **Ensure smooth, collaborative efforts in both day to day and long-term business execution with key internal stakeholders: Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Human Resources, and Market Access, in field teams and other colleagues to look at the development and implementation of HCV Elimination/Micro elimination plans.**
- **Develop and implement patient support programs to foster screening, diagnosis and linkage to care**
- **Demonstrates command of and aptitude for traditional and non-traditional marketing channels including, but not limited to: print, digital, social, in-office, out of home, and broadcast**
- **Effectively manages multiple agency partners to produce deliverables on strategy, within timelines, and budget, while also measuring results.**
- **Analyses moderately complex problems and provides logical recommendations; leads any required action planning.**
- **Provides strategic input on key planning teams such as: sales meetings, sales training and medical education programs.**
- **Has responsibility for managing an assigned marketing budget and project timelines.**
- **Ensures that all marketing activities follow regulatory and legal requirements.**
- **Sets priorities in circumstances of continued complexity and conflicting requirements.**
**Competencies / Skills / Knowledge**:
- **Proven project management skills including timeline and budget management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, plan execution and performance management**
- **Must possess the ability to maintain, develop, and utilize a level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of Gilead products**
- **Must be curious and possess an aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving**
- **Must be able to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environment**
- **Previous experience in marketing research and/or pharmaceutical sales is a plus.**
- **In-depth knowledge and experience in franchise-specific market is preferred.**
- **Must have the ability to conduct analysis and use complex analytical tools.**
- **Must have a demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities.**
- **Strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute development strategy.**
- **Strong presence with ability to command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making is required.**
- **Extensive relevant experience in a similar role in a biotech/pharma fast-paced environment. Desirable experience on Viral Hepatitis TA**
