Key Responsibilities
Leads and oversees the management, administration, and operation of key commercial processes for the organization, providing strong analytics and insights to add value to the commercial decision-making process, and partnering with key areas to improve process agility and compliance. Key highlights:
- Leads the end-to-end management of commercial contracts, partnering with key areas to improve process agility and compliance
- Manages the design, development, implementation process of the Smart Territory Management including Segmentation, SFE and SoW
- Leads the Bonus & Rebates, Asset Management, Bids, and Public Contracting processes:
- Leads the reporting and control of the Transparency and Privacy processes
Contributes to top-level decision making regarding the commercial strategy for the organization in the different territories.
Supports indirect channel development through key administrative processes, leading the Indirect Channel and providing insights and key data and performance metrics, as well as supporting compliance by leading the due diligence process and trainings.
Develops special projects to support sales revenue generation. Identifies market related information needs, segments, and possible data sources in collaboration with sales and marketing.
Develops and facilitates key business assessment and reviews processes focused on data analytics, identifying opportunities and risks associated with achieving plans.
Identifies opportunities to define and recommend policy, procedures, work standards to meet business goals.
Manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
Conducts performance evaluations of commercial excellence areas through use of key performance indicators and benchmarks the organization’s key commercial performance metrics.
Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
**Qualifications**:
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in business and or related areas (marketing, digital marketing, commercial management, among others), Master’s degree ideal / preferred
8 - 10 years professional experience in medical devices/biotech/pharmaceutical industries experience in any combination of the following areas marketing, sales, key account management, project management & planning, analytics
Top-tier analytical capabilities, demonstrated through previous experience
Strong commercial acumen with a solid grasp of digital sales experience, segmentation, brand positioning, and tactical plan development
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to develop new processes and/or formats as needed
Experience and proficiency with analytical tools and systems
Strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills; ability to effectively engage, connect and influence senior management, sales and marketing organizations, and ability to translate complex information/strategies into simple and impactful execution plans.
