About the job

The Training Manager for Commercial Capabilities – SOCOPAC is responsible for designing, leading, and implementing the regional capability-building strategy to strengthen sales, marketing, and field execution capabilities across the Consumer Healthcare business. This role ensures that commercial teams possess the skills, tools, and knowledge required to win at the point of sale and to accelerate commercial excellence.

The position requires strong strategic thinking, exceptional influencing skills, and solid leadership to mobilize cross-functional and multi-country teams, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Capability Strategy

  • Develop the regional commercial capability strategy aligned with global and local business priorities.

  • Identify learning needs and capability gaps based on performance insights, market opportunities, and business objectives.

  • Define and manage the annual capability roadmap for Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing teams.

Training Program Development & Deployment

  • Design, adapt, and deliver training programs covering sales fundamentals, commercial execution, negotiation, category management, leadership, and point-of-sale excellence.

  • Implement modern learning methodologies (blended learning, microlearning, digital platforms).

  • Ensure programs are tailored to each country within the SOCOPAC cluster.

Leadership & Influencing

  • Influence and engage cross-functional leaders to ensure adoption of the commercial capability agenda.

  • Partner closely with Country Managers, Sales Managers, Trade Marketing, and Marketing to align capability initiatives to commercial processes.

  • Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of learning, accountability, and commercial excellence.

Measurement, Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and manage training effectiveness KPIs (evaluation, adoption, performance impact).

  • Analyze commercial performance data to identify capability gaps and improvement opportunities.

  • Continuously refine programs based on insights, feedback, and business results.

Stakeholder Management & Regional Projects

  • Manage relationships with regional and global stakeholders in Commercial Excellence and HR.

  • Lead regional capability projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and business impact.

  • Manage and optimize allocated budgets and resources.

About You

Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in commercial roles, training, or capability development.

  • Previous experience in Consumer Healthcare, FMCG, or industries with high execution intensity.

  • Experience managing regional or multicultural environments.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related fields.

  • Additional training in sales, coaching, learning & development, or commercial excellence is a plus.

Languages

  • Native/Fluent Spanish.

  • Advanced English (required).
