About the Role:
We are looking for a graphic designer with an emphasis in marketing and passion for video games. You will be responsible for creating, producing and compelling effective marketing and advertising materials for the company, including banners, brochures, infographics, videos, and other digital media. You are expected to have a highly developed aesthetic - visual sensibility and a proven ability to create attractive and effective designs. Knowledge and passion for the gaming industry will be a key factor in this role, as you will need to understand gaming trends and culture in order to create relevant and engaging materials for each target audience.

The Graphic Designer & Marketing Video Games responsibilities include:

- Creation of attractive and effective designs for marketing campaigns and publicity materials related to video games, such as advertisements, brochures, infographics, videos and other digital media.
- Closely work with the development and art teams to extract stunning images that will be used on multiple platforms [steam - apple store - play store].
- Maintenance and updating of the brand image and visual style of the company.
- Research trends in the video game industry and marketing to ensure that designs are relevant and attractive to the target audience.
- Participating in presentations and meetings with the marketing team in Wellington to discuss strategies and get feedback.
- Work on team projects and collaborate well with other departments to ensure designs meet company goals.
- Maintaining accurate and up date records and documentation to ensure effective monitoring of projects.
- Participating in training and continuous development to improve skills and knowledge in graphic design and marketing.

**Requirements**:
The Graphic Designer & Marketing Video Game’s required knowledge and experience should include:

- A proven ability to work directly across a wide stylistic range, in-line with the type of work and to the level of quality PikPok is known for
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in graphic design and marketing
- Excellent visual design skills, with a strong sense of aesthetics
- Knowledge and passion for the video game industry and culture
- Experience creating engaging and effective marketing materials, such as advertisements, brochures, infographics, videos, and digital media
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, including the ability to work well with others from different departments
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to research and stay up date on trends in the video game industry and marketing
- Attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently
- A positive, flexible, and solution-oriented approach, with a willingness to continuously learn and develop professionally.
- A strong aptitude for developing new skills, and expanding one’s creative knowledge
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, great work ethic and strong sense of initiative
- A developed understanding of (and appreciation for) video games as a creative medium
