**About the Role**:
The 3D data annotation specialist role will be an entry-level position. As such, it will typically involve tasks related to labelling and classifying as per the client's needs, with the guidance of a project manager. Here are some common responsibilities you can anticipate:

- **Data Labeling**: Accurately labelling data points according to specific guidelines or criteria.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of labelled data.
- **Following Guidelines**: Adhering to strict guidelines and standards set by the organization.
- **Learning New Tasks**: Being open to learning new labelling tasks and adapting to changing project requirements.
- **Using Annotation Tools**: Adapting to the use of the recommended annotation tools and software for use in day-to-day work.

**Requirements**:

- Nationality: Must be a **_Colombian National based in Medellín_**.
- Education: Current student or recent graduate
- For this work opportunity, students or recent graduates from these university faculties would be ideal:

- School of engineering (esp. Structural and Civil Engineers)
- School of Architecture
- Graphics Designers
- Motivations: Financial independence, flexibility, gaining work experience
- Skills: Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, quick learner
- Preferred Job: Data annotation role with flexible, remote options and opportunities for skill development
- Values and cultural fit:
**_Work / Production Requirements:_**
- Workstation:

- Memory: 16GB RAM
- CPU: i5 or equivalent and generation 11 or newer;
- Display: 27-inch external monitor with 1440px resolution[recommended]
- Video graphics: sufficient to support workstation setup;
- Internet Connectivity: 10Mbps; and
- Additional Workstation accessories:

- External mouse (mandatory)
- Power backup, if prone to power outages
- External Monitor (good to have but not mandatory)
- Recommended Skills or work experience
- CAD/AutoCAD
- 2D/3D/Animation
- 2D/3D Data Annotation
- Intermediate to Advanced Spatial reasoning skills
- Sketcher (nice to have)
- Language Proficiency:

- Advanced or Full Native English Proficiency

**_Mode of work Employment terms:_**
- Hired as an independent contractor
- The mode of work will be remote first
- Training expectations:

- Paid Training for 4 - 6 weeks (likely from Mid October - Dates To be Confirmed)
- This will likely be between 12PM - 8PM Local time
- It will be done in-person in Medellín
- Production Work Expectations:

- This will likely be between 12 PM - 8 PM Local time
- Expected Pay:

- We pay in USD$.
- There is a difference in the pay rate for training vs. production.
- The production pay will be $2-$3 per hour. Exact amount to be confirmed in the coming days.
