**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking a proactive and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer who also enjoys leading teams to join our financial team in Medellin. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of financial duties, including payroll recording, tax preparation, and financial statement generation for both our Colombian and US entities.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone who not only has a passion for finance but also enjoys the challenge of leadership and desires to propel their career in a growing team environment.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities.**
- Audit monthly sales report
- Prepare monthly and annual tax reports (Colombia) and prepare the accounting information needed to file tax returns in USA - Manage relationships with the tax consultant.
- Make payroll payment in Colombia, and social security.
- Identify accounting issues and offer solutions.
- Monthly and weekly reconciliations.
- Pay suppliers verifying retentions to be made, tax documentation, resolving discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, payments, and contracts.
- Make the monthly cost report.
- Reconcile weekly the recurring revenue vs expected revenue.
- Prepare the weekly sales report.
- Process documentation.
- Manage the Billing tasks and make improvements to the processes.
- Ensure all the payments failed from our customers and the recovery automation is running.
- Being creative to find diverse ways to solve the request from the account managers.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and professional card.
- Minimum 2-year experience in accounting or finance departments.
- Proven experience in ERP systems. (QuickBooks preferred)
- High level of written and verbal communication in English.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

- Fluent English at least B2 - C1.

**Ability to commute/relocate**:
Medellín, Antioquia: Reliable commute or willing to relocate in Medellin, the company can pay the flight bill.
