**Position**: Accounting Specialist
**Location**: Remote Latam /PH
**Working hours**: 40 hrs per week, 8 am - 5 pm PST
**Salary Range**: USD 2.500 - 3.000

Scope of the Job

**Responsibilities**:

- Book daily cash transactions into QuickBooks.
- Ensure all vendor invoices are updated daily in QuickBooks (Saved in Quickbooks & Saved to an organized folder).
- Oversee all banking and financial transactions.
- Ensure all financial controls are in place.
- Review and record journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity per GAAP.
- Manage the books so the company can pass an Annual Audit without issues.
- Prepare all work papers supporting the monthly close process and month-end balances.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly & year-to-date financial statements (P&l, BS and Cashflow).
- Manage all lender and investor reporting requirements.
- Ensure company tax payments are made following CPA’s (Tax) instructions.
- Establish the accounting department operations for two stand-alone businesses with multiple vertical lines of business in tandem with internal control procedures.
- Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
- Supervise bi-monthly payroll.
- Manage new hire onboarding and background check processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA and/or MBA a plus
- 8+ years of experience in the accounting and finance sector
- 3+ years of experience with Quickbooks Online or other ERP experience
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is a huge plus
