Accountable of supporting the underwriting activity of AXA Partners Colombia & Ecuador and leading the portfolio technical profitability analysis.

The position is budgeted and due to the voluntary retirement of Alejandro Narvaez, the position needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Supporting the pricing activity of AXA Partners Colombia & Ecuador, all business lines.

Ensure proper technical assumptions and KPIs when submitting prices, with strong focus on profitability and analysis quality and within underwriting guidelines.

Developing and ensuring profitable pricing and business development by:
Coordinating appropriate communication with all parties involved.

Strong communication with central underwriting teams.

Correct use of historical data and decision-making.

Continuous improvement of available statistics.

Develop predictive models to calculate the profit of new business and renewals.

Technical monitoring and backtesting of business performance (new business, renewals, and key accounts).

Provide analysis and lead change management to both existing and new business models.

Development improvements of predictive models to ensure accuracy and quality consistency of data.

Perform deep dive reviews that require strong data analytics of trends to ensure proper business analysis.

**CALIFICACIONES**

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

**Minimum Education Requirements**:
Bachelor or advanced degree in insurance, actuarial science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, risk management, economics, business administration or related analytics-oriented discipline.

**Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Strong computer skills with high proficiency in managing and manipulating data in Excel and Access.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, project management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to project results, deal with ambiguity, solve problems, make decisions, see trends/patterns within data sets and identify root causes.

Language requested: English intermediate level as minimum.

Experience in insurance or risk management, at least 4 years.
