**Remote Position**

Fast-paced, multi-specialty practice looking for a detail oriented, motivated, efficient, friendly, positive and energetic Patient Care Coordinator.

As a Patient Care Coordinator you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support patients, doctors and staff through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. You must be able to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**
- Answer phones
- Must be reliable
- Friendly and outgoing
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and patient charts in the EHR.
- Chart preparation
- Arrange and send imaging orders, labs, booking sheets
- Retrieve Imaging reports, medical records etc.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms

**Skills**
- Must be fluent in English; reading, writing and speaking
- Superior attention to detail
- Proven working experience as a Patient Care Coordinator
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Orthopedic Spine experience a plus
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Efficiency in scheduling patients quickly
- Social perceptiveness and patient oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency with Mac, in MS Office and patient management software / EHR
