The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Territory Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Applying broad knowledge and extensive experience to deal with variations in work conditions and operations to solve complex and diverse problems. Providing direct leadership responsibility for the work group with clearly defined roles; reviewing and approving work results conducted by the group. Supervising sales representatives within the sales function, including defining and coordinating execution of sales/customer/market analysis, and reporting on findings to guide business decisions. Implementing sales operations programs around reporting, analytics, territory management, incentives, rebates and data processing. Analyzing direct and indirect sales data and customers. Leading projects and initiatives to ensure overall growth of sales revenue and compliance with corporate standard operating procedures. Conducting analytics activities for a business team and being involved in contract negotiations for major clients. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher and more than 5 years of experience in Medical Devices Sales. Additional Qualifications that Could Help You Succeed Even Further in this Role Field Leadership and Team Coaching: Ability to lead from the front, coach frontline sales managers and representatives, provide effective feedback, and build disciplined execution and accountability across territories. Influence and Stakeholder Alignment: Strong influencing skills to align distributors, key customers, and internal support functions (marketing, clinical, finance, supply chain) around regional priorities, often within a matrix organization. Emotional Intelligence and Communication: High level of self‑awareness, empathy, and active listening to manage diverse personalities, resolve conflicts, and communicate expectations clearly in high‑pressure commercial environments. Adaptability and Problem Solving: Capacity to respond quickly to market dynamics, customer objections, competitive actions, and operational constraints, making sound decisions with incomplete information. Results Orientation with Integrity: Strong focus on delivering sales and profitability targets while consistently operating within compliance, quality, and ethical standards required in the medical device industry.
