Contract & Procurement Specialist, Mining Projects We are currently looking for an experienced Contract & Procurement Manager to work on mining projects across natural resources, energy and infrastructure sectors. The role involves contract management, procurement, stakeholder engagement and providing regular reporting to senior management. Responsibilities (non‑exhaustive) Contract management: supplier follow‑up, contract close‑out and ensure contract compliance. Ensure business goals are accomplished by contract implementation. Provide regular reporting on the status of contracts for management. Stakeholder management – create and maintain strong relationships with client interfaces. Prepare or review requests for proposals for distribution to vendors. Coordinate with Project Controls and the finance department to ensure correct billing and accounts payable; verify receipt of goods and services and help verify quality performance by vendors. Identify potential improvements to contracting and procurement strategies, policies, bidding, and vendor selection to achieve the best value for the Client. Be an active member of the procurement organization and contract team. Qualifications 10+ years relevant experience in a similar role in the mining construction sector. Commercial project experience highly preferred. Formal Project Management methods. Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to present to senior management to gain approvals. Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced and quickly changing environment. Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
