EF Language Abroad is looking for a strategic, customer‑centric, and data‑driven Sales Business Developer to elevate our student’s journey to the next level As a Sales Business Developer in Cali , you will identify and build new business opportunities with schools, universities, companies, industry associations, and academic institutions to generate more partnerships, more leads, and help the business grow. You will also be expected to organize events, lead our referral/loyalty program, reach weekly and monthly generation and sales targets, and other predefined KPIs. Responsibilities Opening new doors and finding business opportunities. Self‑expression and communication skills in every environment. Negotiating / Listening / Identifying win‑win solutions / and having an entrepreneurial spirit. Meeting goals and working under pressure. Being organized and fulfilling acquired commitments with partners/customers. Identifying potential partners to work with. Generating leads and cold‑calling prospective customers/businesses. Meeting with customers/clients face‑to‑face, via Zoom, or over the phone. Creating and executing an activity plan in a timely manner, by participating in events that increase customers’ interest and boost sales. Stands, exhibitions, fairs, and presentations are part of those events. Thinking strategically — seeing the bigger picture and setting goals and objectives to develop and improve the business. Planning and executing the activities you will run daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly with the help of your direct marketing and sales teams within EF Colombia. Requirements A bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or International Affairs. Preferable but not mandatory: having studied, worked or lived abroad. Fluency in Spanish and English is important for this role due to our international scope. Relevant or equivalent experience with marketing and/or sales.
