Business Developer
- Do you dream of an exciting role where your work will have a real impact on people’s futures?
- EF Language Abroad is looking for a strategic, customer-centric, and data-driven Business Developer in Cali to elevate our students' journey to the next level
- As a Business Developer you will identify and build new business opportunities with schools, universities and companies, industry associations and academic institutions to generate more partnerships, more names/leads and help the business grow. You will also be expected to organize events and lead our referral/loyalty program.You will be asked to reach weekly and monthly generation and sales targets and other predefined KPIs.
- Your main responsibilities are:

- Opening new doors and finding business opportunities.
Self-expression and communications skills in every environment.
- Negotiating / Listening / Identifying win-win solutions / and having an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Meeting goals and working under pressure.
- Being organized and fulfilling acquired commitments with partners/customers.
- Identify potential partners to work with.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers/businesses.
- Meet with customers/clients face to face, zoom or over the phone.
- Create and execute in a timely manner an activity plan, by participating in events that increase customers’ interest and boost sales. Stands, exhibitions, fairs, running presentations are part of those events.
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting goals and objectives to develop and improve the business.
- Plan and execute the activities you will run daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly with the help of your direct marketing and sales teams within EF Colombia.
- Requirements:

- A Bachelor´s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or International Affairs.
- Preferable but not mandatory: having studied/worked/lived abroad.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is important for this role due to our international scope.
- Relevant or equivalent experience with marketing and/or sales.
- Preferable but not mandatory: Experience in event planning and execution
