Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and innovative E-commerce Site Operations Specialist to join our digital team, working with one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our client's e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and efficient online shopping experience for their customers. Responsibilities Content Management: Manage and update website content using a content management system (CMS), ensuring all information is current and accurate. E-Commerce Integration: Integrate e-commerce functionalities such as third-party plugins to enhance the online shopping experience. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website performance, including speed, responsiveness, and overall site efficiency. SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices and track website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Cross-Device and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure the website is fully responsive and functions seamlessly across various devices and browsers. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to ensure website alignment with branding and marketing strategies. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience. Requirements Advanced, near-native English proficiency. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in eCommerce website development, preferably in a retail or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment. Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and CMS (e.g., Shopify). Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
