Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative E-commerce Site Operations Specialist to join our digital team, working with one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our client's e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and efficient online shopping experience for their customers.

 

Responsibilities:

Content Management: Manage and update website content using a content management system (CMS), ensuring all information is current and accurate. E-Commerce Integration: Integrate e-commerce functionalities such as third-party plugins to enhance the online shopping experience.Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website performance, including speed, responsiveness, and overall site efficiency.SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices and track website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Cross-Device and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure the website is fully responsive and functions seamlessly across various devices and browsers.Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to ensure website alignment with branding and marketing strategies. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience. 

Requirements:

Advanced, near-native English proficiency.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in eCommerce website development, preferably in a retail or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment.Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and CMS (e.g., Shopify).Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry are a plus 

On-site role based in Bogota.
