About Your New Role This 100% remote position transforms the billing, license management, and financial systems that power our rapidly growing global SaaS platform. You’ll reimagine how financial transactions, licensing, and accounting flow through a multi‑continent enterprise—modernizing a legacy PHP monolith into a scalable, accurate, and resilient service‑oriented architecture. Key Responsibilities Design the next‑generation financial platform for billing, licensing, and accounting. Lead the migration from a legacy PHP monolith to a modern, service‑based architecture. Build systems that handle invoices, payments, and revenue recognition globally. Integrate with platforms such as NetSuite, Stripe, QuickBooks, Zuora, and Chargebee. Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and auditability across all transactions. Set standards for performance, observability, and security across the financial stack. Partner closely with Finance, Product, and Operations to translate business needs into scalable tech. What You’ll Need For Success 10+ years of experience building and scaling reliable backend systems. Proven experience modernizing legacy apps into modular, service‑oriented architectures. Strong background integrating with ERP, payment, and accounting systems (NetSuite a plus). Experience building systems that support global scale and high transaction volume. Solid understanding of PCI, SOC2, GDPR, and modern authentication standards like OAuth 2.0. Hands‑on experience in Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
