Job Summary We’re looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer (Backend‑Focused) to lead a major modernization project – migrating a legacy .NET MVC application to a modern, cloud‑native architecture on .NET 8.0. This high‑impact role involves redesigning and rebuilding critical systems to improve scalability, performance, and developer productivity. While the focus is on backend development, you’ll also contribute to the Angular‑based front‑end for seamless integration across the stack. AI tools will be leveraged to enhance code quality and accelerate development cycles, and you will take full ownership of testing and reliability. Responsibilities Lead the migration of a legacy .NET MVC application to .NET 8.0, focusing on backend services and API development. Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient microservices deployed on AWS. Develop and optimize MS SQL Server schemas, queries, and stored procedures. Collaborate closely with front‑end teams to build, maintain, and optimize Angular components. Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code, ensuring quality through comprehensive self‑testing (unit, integration, etc.). Use AI‑powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, ChatGPT) to improve development speed and quality. Apply strong understanding of data structures, multi‑threading, and N‑Tier architecture to solve performance and scalability challenges. Troubleshoot complex issues across development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile setup and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Use GIT for version control and contribute to modern CI/CD pipelines. Qualifications And Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in SaaS or Enterprise Application Development. Proven hands‑on experience with .NET Core and interest or experience with .NET 8.0. Strong background building and deploying microservices in cloud environments (preferably AWS). Advanced MS SQL Server skills – database design, development, and performance tuning. Hands‑on experience with Angular, including integration with backend APIs. Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and code quality. Demonstrated ability to write high‑quality, self‑tested code. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
