Senior Enterprise Sales Executive, New and Existing Accounts

Join our Enterprise Security Team Our Enterprise Security team focuses on developing and selling our micro‑segmentation security solution. Micro‑segmentation is key to protecting our customers against ransomware threats in the changing DC/Cloud environment. Our goal is to secure, protect, and accelerate all enterprise communication as a cloud security service. Read about our strategy of attacking a macro security problem with micro‑segmentation: Partner with the Best Be part of a sales team with domain knowledge of enterprises' digital business, network infrastructure, security and application access requirements. You will collaborate with the wider Akamai team and channel partners to pursue and generate sales opportunities. You will demonstrate a high level of leadership with our customers and Akamai sales teams. As a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive, New and Existing Accounts, you will be responsible for: Leading the enterprise security agenda internally and externally Operating in a start‑up, undefined and matrix mode Having enterprise domain expertise — infrastructure, applications, networking or security background(s) in selling to senior executives Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will: Have relevant sales experience with a technology, SaaS or security company Possess direct sales experience and the ability to build a channel strategy Have C‑level access and engagement Be able to lead within a matrixed organization Possess excellent communication and presentation skills Have experience with any of the following: micro segmentation (ex.
