On behalf of NDA, renewable energy assets , SD Solutions is looking for a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing team and fuel the next phase of expansion. This is a critical outbound-focused role where you'll identify and engage high-value prospects in the renewable energy sector, creating qualified pipeline opportunities for our Account Executive team. Responsibilities Execute strategic outbound campaigns targeting renewable energy asset owners, operators, O&M providers, IPPs, and financial institutions. Research and identify key decision-makers within target accounts, including C-level executives, VPs of Operations, Asset Managers, and Portfolio Managers. Utilize multiple outreach channels such as cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn, and industry events to engage prospects. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM and sales engagement tools. Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ renewable energy portfolios, pain points, and operational challenges. Qualify leads based on the ideal customer profile, including portfolio size, technology stack, and growth trajectory. Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition, demonstrating how the AI-powered platform enhances operational efficiency, maintenance, and financial visibility. Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings and demos for the Account Executive team with detailed handoff notes. Collaborate closely with Account Executives, the CEO in Austin, and the sales and product teams in Israel to align on target accounts, messaging, and campaign strategies. Participate in regular team syncs across time zones to share insights, best practices, and market intelligence. Provide feedback to the marketing team on campaign performance, messaging effectiveness, and the competitive landscape. Contribute to the continuous improvement of outbound playbooks, scripts, and processes. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified meetings, pipeline generation, and conversion rates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, conversations, and prospect statuses in CRM. Track and analyze performance metrics, including call volume, email response rates, and meeting conversion rates, to optimize outreach strategies. Requirements 1-3 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or inside sales role with a focus on outbound prospecting. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation and activity quotas. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage C-level executives. Strong research and qualification skills with attention to detail. Self-motivated, competitive, and resilient with the ability to handle rejection and maintain high activity levels. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with cross-functional and international teams. Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft, Apollo, or similar). Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advantages Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry (solar developers, EPC firms, asset management, energy technology companies). Understanding of solar PV systems, energy storage, O&M operations, or renewable energy finance. Familiarity with the renewable energy ecosystem including IPPs, developers, investors, and O&M providers. Experience selling SaaS solutions, particularly in energy tech, climate tech, or AI/ML platforms. Knowledge of renewable energy industry trends, challenges, and regulatory landscape. Network within the solar or clean energy industry.
