Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will provide first-level technical support to end-users, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support to users for desktop systems (Windows/Mac), applications, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.). Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop hardware, operating systems, and standard applications. Set up and support user accounts, permissions, email, and system access as per company policies. Log, track, and manage IT support tickets using the helpdesk system. Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or relevant teams. Maintain inventory records of IT assets and equipment. Assist in deploying patches, antivirus updates, and security configurations. Support video conferencing and collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams, etc.). Participate in new hire onboarding, including workstation setup and orientation. Follow IT policies, procedures, and security best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT desktop support or similar role. Good understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic ticketing systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
