Job Summary

As a Financial Analyst II at World Courier de Colombia S.A., you will play a key role in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain detailed financial models and dashboards to identify key cost drivers and trends.
  • Develop and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting operational issues and areas for improvement.
  • Lead cost savings initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Analyze variances to plan and prior year, and prepare illustrative slides for monthly business review presentations.
  • Assist with data validation, preparation, and analysis for payroll and headcount.
  • Collaborate with business segments teams to gather and compile data needed to conduct analyses and address senior management requests.
Requirements
  • Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, data analysis, or similar vocations.
  • Normally requires a minimum of 2+ years of directly related and progressively responsible experience or a Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of various finance areas such as cost analysis, plan development, variance explanations, and monthly close.
  • Experience with creating and updating budgeting models within Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis in Excel.
  • Experience working with large datasets within Microsoft Excel.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel tools and formulas.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Advanced English communication skills is a must.
