The Opportunity

The MPL Procurement Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Latin America MPL teams in the due diligence and linkage experience process of our vendors. This role will also be responsible for carrying out procurement activities for specific cargo categories with third-party suppliers, where process optimization and speed are key.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and report on the progress of the vendor creation or vendor management process.
  2. Perform background checks and other tasks to ensure accurate knowledge of business associates, utilizing and analyzing available tools.
  3. Monitor and report vendors' performance based on key metrics.
  4. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to optimize the vendor creation process.
  5. Implement process improvements for the procurement of spot offers and vendor updates/creation.
  6. Develop quotations for certain cargo categories, classified as transactional.
  7. Collaborate with area MPL teams to ensure the correct assignment flow of operations to the appropriate general cargo vendors.
We're Looking for
  1. A graduate student from a technical or professional bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, business administration, economy, or related areas.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. A sense of urgency and proactiveness.
  4. Organization and problem-solving skills.
  5. Advanced or intermediate English and Spanish level.
  6. The candidate must be located in Bogotá, Colombia.
  7. (Desirable) Experience in the vendor background, due diligence, and onboarding process.
  8. (Desirable) Knowledge in local and international transport logistics.
