Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Channel Sales Representative to join our team at Equinix. As a Regional Partner Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing Regional partner relationships to achieve channel/company new bookings and enterprise new logo growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner Recruitment
  • Research and understand prospective partner's products and services, relevant competencies, and geographic coverage.
  • Evaluate partner competencies and qualifications, including customer base, related services, and sales team size.
  • Describe relevant participation requirements and benefits of Partner Programs, including application, approval process, and timeline.
  • Communicate Sales Return on Expectation (ROE) and onboarding plan, and confirm agreement on communication during sales pursuits.
  • Selectively engage Channel Marketing and coordinate development of initial go-to-market and first deal strategy.
Partner Relationship Management
  • Identify and establish contact with initial sponsor within prospective partners.
  • Manage long-term relationships with partners.
  • Ensure the designation of Executive sponsors.
Partner Development / Activation & Enablement
  • Educate and create awareness of the value of the Equinix platform (Joint value proposition).
Business/Pipeline Reviews
  • Participate in Regional Joint Business Planning.
  • Participate in deal tagging/tracking process.
  • Have joint funnel oversight.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Equinix Field Sales, Corporate Sales, Sales Engineers, and Marketing.
  • Educate partners on how to engage Equinix resources (including Field Sales, GSA, SE, CSM) to define, quote, and order solution.
  • Leverage executive sponsors appropriately.
Communications
  • Deliver message and partner pitch to partner company on how partnering with Equinix can help to grow their business.
  • Deliver relevant message to confirm mutual interest in moving forward, uncovering interest and motivation of prospective partner stakeholders, identifying their business driver to partner with Equinix.
  • Expertly articulate business value of joint value proposition with Equinix.
Requirements
  1. 3+ years of proven success in channel sales for an internet, network, data center, hyperscaler or cloud-based products or services provider preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  3. Advanced English.
