As the Business Director for Meetings & Events, you will oversee employee engagement, client retention, new sales, and financial growth for the business. Your role involves leading cross-functional operational teams, identifying areas for efficiency improvement, ensuring compliance achievement, developing training strategies, managing clients and supplier relationships, and fostering a culture of teamwork.

- Participating in industry events to represent our brand in the market.
- Implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conducting performance reviews and establishing plans with individuals to ensure maximized performance against goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in the industry is a plus.
- Minimum of five years of experience in meetings/events/program management with P&L responsibility.
- Minimum of five years of experience in managing people.
- Minimum of five years of experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts.
- Experience in Life Science/Pharmaceutical Accounts is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- First-hand experience in domestic and international group travel.
- Extensive knowledge of Meetings Industry best practices, trends, and key players in the market.
This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead, innovate, and drive operational excellence while ensuring client satisfaction and team success. The salary range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
