Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Strategist to join our team at SGS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and expanding customer relationships, with a deep understanding of the Crop Sciences industry.

About the Role:

  • Develop and Implement Business Strategies: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Crop Sciences sector across Europe, developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and developing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Service Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Crop Sciences sector, informing business development strategies and recommendations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain accurate records and reports on sales activities, client interactions, and business performance, providing insights to inform future business decisions.

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within the Crop Sciences or related industries.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and expanding customer relationships.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GLP Crop Sciences operations and testing requirements.
  • Fluent English language skills, with additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish highly beneficial.
