IT Support Specialist for Enterprise Operations

Hitachi Vantara Corporation is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our enterprise systems.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing exceptional support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve IT-related issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure computers are delivered in a ready-to-use condition for IT users.
- Provide ad-hoc training to users on common IT issues and guide them through self-service tools.
- Manage the physical stock of devices and accessories, including updates in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Conduct regular inventory checks for relevant hardware.
- Coordinate logistics by utilizing local logistics providers to transport and relocate devices between locations.
- Handle warranty cases in collaboration with the appropriate Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) vendors.
- Identify and report potential risks that could impact the quality of OSS services.
- Offer support to end-users and ensure the functionality of IT equipment and software in meeting rooms and other user collaboration areas as part of desk-side support.
- Formal qualification in IT completed from an accredited university or college OR completed an apprenticeship in the field of IT.
- 2 years of experience in similar roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
- Fluent in English is a mandatory requirement.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrates an ability to work independently and is self-driven.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
