Sustainability Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY COLOMBIA LTDA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Lead the development and implementation of process optimization initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Continuous Improvement: Manage the identification, research, and analysis of machinery and equipment to propose changes and new applications, aligned with defined objectives and priorities.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to other sectors in the industrial area, ensuring the quality of project development and operation.
• Productivity Growth: Encourage increased productivity by seeking alternatives to optimize processes, coordinating automation and/or mechanization projects, and ensuring the installation and start-up of new equipment/technology.
• Feasibility Studies: Ensure that technical and economic feasibility studies are carried out for the implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Problem-Solving: Plan and coordinate studies to eliminate deviations and operational problems, identifying opportunities for improvement and/or cost reduction.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Production, Process, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 10 years of experience in continuous improvement processes.
• Language: Advanced/Fluent English.
• Certifications: Black Belt certification is desirable.
