Technical Pre-sales Expert

Thales is seeking a skilled professional to provide technical expertise in our D1 offer as part of our Modern Card Issuance Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payments and card issuance services, including APIs, payment gateways, and merchant services.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales teams to identify customer needs and requirements, design technical solutions, and present to customers during pre-sales. They will also be responsible for maintaining technical and customer flows consistency across the customer engagement journey from Pre-sales to Onboarding.
The position can be based in Mexico City, Sao Paulo, or Bogotá. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or a relevant field, at least 5-8 years of experience in a similar position, and fluent English with effective communication skills.
Key areas of responsibility include collaborating with sales teams, presenting to customers, developing product demonstrations, conducting technical assessments, and supporting sales executives during meetings with customer technical teams.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and work independently and in a team environment.
