Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Forex Market Research Analyst to enhance our analytical capabilities at StoneX. In this pivotal role within our research division, you will be responsible for scrutinizing and interpreting market dynamics to deliver valuable insights for our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth research and evaluation of the Forex market, focusing on currency pairs, economic indicators, geopolitical influences, and central bank actions.
  • Analyze and interpret market movements, trends, and news that could affect currency valuations.
  • Employ technical analysis methodologies, including charts and indicators, to uncover patterns and identify trading opportunities within the Forex sector.
  • Create comprehensive reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations based on your findings to assist in trading and investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including traders and risk management experts, to provide timely and precise market insights that inform decision-making.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory updates, and market innovations to maintain a thorough understanding of the Forex landscape.
  • Regularly assess and enhance trading models, strategies, and risk management practices based on analytical insights and performance evaluations.
  • Engage in discussions and presentations to communicate your analysis and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
  • Contribute to the refinement of research methodologies and tools to improve the efficiency of market analysis operations.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive market players, their strategies, and their influence on the Forex market to identify potential advantages.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Market Analyst, particularly within the Forex domain, with a solid grasp of currency trading and market behavior.
  • Strong foundation in both fundamental and technical analysis techniques relevant to Forex market evaluation.
  • Proficient in financial analysis software, data platforms, and charting applications.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of synthesizing complex data, recognizing trends, and making informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey analysis and insights effectively.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with proficiency in both written and spoken forms.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage extensive data while ensuring accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Self-driven and motivated, with a keen interest in financial markets and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) are highly regarded.
