About the Role

As a Research Analyst in the Content Platform team, you will be part of a new business unit with a vision to create a comprehensive and accessible platform that helps clients find, understand, and track companies that matter to them.

You will be joining an exciting new team with an ambitious mandate, where you will gain start-up experience within an established business and brand.

This role is critical to the team's success, requiring you to engage experts to share their insights, cover content for over 1 million companies, and publish it on the Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and learn about private businesses through their financials and public newsflow.
  • Research, identify, and connect with industry specialists to draw sector/industry and company knowledge.
  • Facilitate and schedule discussions between industry experts and the Ops Team of Content Platform.
  • Contribute to the scaling of content by sending AI-led surveys to long lists of industry experts.
  • Receive training on how to use the AI tool efficiently at scale.
  • Use spreadsheets of proprietary data to reach a high volume of experts.
  • Grow and expand our existing network of industry specialists.
  • Collaborate with the entire Content Platform team and produce content end-to-end.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field is often required.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills with proven experience in communicating effectively and building relationships quickly.
  • Be passionate about building a new product and excited by the unknown.
  • Have demonstrable experience in researching and summarizing content in English.
  • Be able to confidently and professionally interact with senior industry executives.
  • Have meaningful experience in telephone conversations with many individuals and lead these conversations with ease.
  • Have a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to develop the product.
  • Be a results-driven team contributor who is able to effectively manage their time while maintaining a positive and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Be able to thrive in hybrid remote and in-office environments.
