Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Pump and Dredge Sales Engineer to drive our sales efforts by leveraging their technical expertise. This role demands a deep understanding of pumps and dredging equipment, as well as strong sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their specific project requirements and provide expert recommendations on pump and dredge equipment.
  • Read, interpret, and develop pump curves to accurately specify and select appropriate equipment.
  • Specify and recommend suitable pump and dredge equipment based on project specifications, operational conditions, and customer needs.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and presentations that align with customer expectations and project goals.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure selected equipment meets performance and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process, including post-sales support as needed.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in pump and dredge technology and apply this knowledge to offer innovative solutions.
  • Participate in virtual meetings, presentations, and technical discussions with customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, proposals, and sales activities using CRM software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pump and dredge engineering, with a strong understanding of pump curves, equipment specification, and dredging operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and develop pump curves.
  • Experience specifying pump and dredge equipment for various applications, including industrial, construction, and environmental projects.
  • Strong technical sales experience with a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong English skills.
