Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and proficient DevOps Engineer to become part of our modernization team. In this capacity, you will be an integral member of the core modernization team, tasked with the build, deployment, and automation of the platform and its capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in a microservices architecture, automating builds and deployments at scale with agility, while working closely with team members to ensure a reliable, secure, efficient, and scalable process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our current build and deployment processes and pipelines.
  • Design, construct, and uphold infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for the modernization team, contributing to the design of our future automation architecture.
  • Guarantee the reliability and scalability of our systems through proactive monitoring and performance enhancement.
  • Assist in platform and capability deployments across various environments, including troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure our systems are secure and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
  • Guide and educate other team members in DevOps best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps capacity.
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Helm).
  • Networking knowledge with an emphasis on containerization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines, Terraform).
  • Proficient programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or a similar language.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
