As a Solution Architect at VRP Consulting, Inc., you will play a critical role in designing scalable, maintainable, and extensible solutions for clients. Your primary focus will be to help reduce technical debt by creating effective design solutions that meet business needs. In collaboration with the Delivery Manager, this role serves as the primary functional consulting resource, fostering trust and becoming the ultimate owner of the solution design from a business process perspective.

The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of the Salesforce platform and the ability to know what is or is not possible (and when to configure over code). You will also possess strong communication and empathy skills, understanding what the client is looking for and why, and work with them to achieve it. Additionally, you will be flexible, operating on projects of high complexity (up to enterprise level).

This role involves mentoring and guiding more junior project resources on the significance of clear project documentation, such as user stories. You will also emphasize the importance of leveraging declarative system configuration to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the Salesforce platform. Furthermore, you will support the presales team in creating responses to clients, gathering requirements in short time frames, producing estimates that are supported by assumptions, and compiling proposals with options for solutions that can be implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and architecting solutions that effectively address stated objectives and business needs, while aligning to industry best practices.
  • Acting as a translator of client needs to more technical resources.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the solution design throughout the delivery process, identifying and resolving issues that may arise to maintain the quality of the solution.
  • Collaborating with team members to thoroughly investigate, scope, and size the client's requirements, while adhering to project timelines and budget.

Expected Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
