Role Overview

As a Solution Architect at VRP, you will play a critical role in designing and architecting scalable, maintainable, and extensible solutions that effectively address client objectives and business needs. You will act as a translator between client needs and system functionalities, ensuring that solutions are well-suited to their business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and architect solutions that align to industry best practices, and meet client objectives and business needs.
  2. Ensure the integrity of the solution design throughout the delivery process, identifying and resolving issues that may arise.
  3. Align functional requirements and delivery with the client's vision and goals, ensuring that the solution is well-suited to their business needs.
  4. Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery to successful go-live and project closure, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  5. Collaborate with team members to thoroughly investigate, scope, and size client requirements, while adhering to project timelines and budget.
  6. Maintain and manage a comprehensive backlog of requirements, ensuring that they align with business objectives and client needs.
  7. Be a source of quality control for any client-facing interactions related to functional parts of project delivery.
  8. Support presales for the Sales Team, creating estimates and proposals and presenting the technical elements back to the client in a way that sells the business value of the solution.
Qualifications

Core Skills

  1. Architecting solution designs based on the core capabilities of the Salesforce platform and declarative automation tools.
  2. Broad knowledge of the Salesforce platform and the ability to know what is or is not possible (and when to configure over code).
  3. Communication and empathy - understand what the client is looking for and why, and work with them to achieve it (value-driven decisions).
  4. Elicitation of functional requirements (support for BA, IC).
  5. Flexibility - operating on projects of high complexity (up to enterprise level).
